B Overview 1 ® ® ® The Motorola SURFboard SBV6120 DOCSIS 3.0 Digital Voice Modem provides high-speed Internet access and up to two lines of VoIP (Voice-over-IP) telephone service, thus allowing you to use one device for your voice and data services over a single network. The SBV6120 transmits and receives data much faster than traditional dial-up, DSL (digital subscriber line), or ISDN modems. The label contains the MAC address, which is a unique, 48-bit value that identifies each Ethernet network device.
