B Installing the Modem 3 Connecting the SB6121 This product is for indoor use only. Do not route the Ethernet cable outside of the building. Exposure of the cables to lightning could create a safety hazard and damage the product. 1. Make sure the coaxial cable is connected to a cable outlet or splitter. 2. B Connecting to the Internet 4 Checking for an Internet Connection After installing your cable modem, you are now ready to connect your computer and other network devices to the Internet. 1. Open a web browser window on your computer. 2. Type www.motorola.com in the Address bar. If the Motorola website appears, you have successfully connected to the Internet.
