10. Scanning Your radio comes with three scan options: Normal Scan: If there are no channels in memory, the default is Normal Scan. In Normal Scan mode, all channels in the channel bank set are scanned in sequence. After the last channel number has been scanned, the cycle repeats. Normal scan will automatically check for transmission on the channel being scanned.
