Spark Plug Wire 1. Disconnect spark plug wire from the spark plug, and Spark Plug ground it against the engine. Wire 2. Attaching Chute Deflector Lock Nut Chute Flat Washer Deflector (Hardware D) CAUTION: Do not run your lawn mower without chute deflector or an approved grass catcher in place. Operating Tips For best results, do not cut wet grass. New grass, thick grass, or wet grass may require a narrower cut. For a healthier lawn, never cut off more than one-third of the total length of the grass. Your lawn should be cut in the fall as long as there is growth. Cleaning Mower The underside of the mower deck should be cleaned after each use to prevent a buildup of grass clippings, leaves, dirt or other matter. Follow the steps below for this job. NOTE: We do not recommend the use of pressure washers or garden hose to clean your unit. These may cause damage to electric components, spindles, pulleys, bearings, or the engine.
