Introduction Chapter 1: Introduction Congratulations Thank you for purchasing a Husqvarna PT 26D. Husqvarna PTs have been designed according to a unique concept with a front mounted cutting unit and Husqvarna's unique rear wheel steering. The machine is built to give maximum efficiency even in small and difficult areas. Collected controls and a hydrostatic transmission controlled by pedals also contribute to the machine’s performance. This Operator’s Manual is a valuable document.

Safety Instructions • Shut down the blades when not mowing. The blades must only be running when the cutting unit is lowered and active when used for mowing. • Be careful when rounding fixed objects, so that the blades do not hit them. Never run the machine over foreign objects. • Never drive close to objects or other machines.
