Simply plug each station into an AC outlet, then place it on a desk, shelf, or table, or mount it on a wall. Important: • You must connect all of the stations to AC outlets originating from the same phase of a power line transformer. 43-492.fm Page 5 Friday, August 13, 1999 10:02 AM MOUNTING THE STATIONS To mount a station on the wall, you need two screws (not supplied) with heads that fit into the keyhole slots on the bottom of the stations. Follow these steps to mount a station on the wall. 3 1. Mark the mounting screw locations 2 /4 inches (70 mm) apart, one above the other. 2. Drill a hole at each marked location. 3. Thread a screw into each hole until the screw’s head 1 extends about /8 inch from the wall. 4. Align t

43-492.fm Page 6 Friday, August 13, 1999 10:02 AM OPERATION TURNING A STATION ON AND OFF/ ADJUSTING THE VOLUME To turn on a station, rotate VOLUME to the left until it clicks. When the TALK BAR lights steadily to show the station has power, rotate VOLUME left or right to increase or decrease the volume level. To turn off the station, rotate VOLUME to the right until it clicks. CALLING ANOTHER STATION 1. Be sure the stations you plan to use are turned on and adjusted to the desired volume. 2.

For example, you could set the station in a baby’s bedroom to pick up any sounds in that bedroom, then listen at the station in the kitchen to monitor the sounds. (Pressing CALL or turning off the station also releases the lock). USING ADDITIONAL STATIONS You can add additional stations, such as RadioShack Cat.
