INTRODUCTION ® ® Thank you for purchasing our BébéSounds Deluxe Angelcare Movement Sensor with Sound Monitor. This monitor can detect your baby’s slightest movements, even while she sleeps. An alarm will sound alerting you to check your baby ONLY if she becomes absolutely still for 20 ® seconds. In addition, your Angelcare monitor can also work as a conventional sound monitor. Please read all the instructions carefully before operating this monitor. Please save this manual for future reference.

SETTING UP YOUR MONITOR SENSOR PAD (See figs. 1 and 2) Place the Sensor Pad under the center of the crib mattress with the turquoise side facing up. Movement Sensitivity Control. The movement sensitivity control is on the back of the Nursery Unit. The level has been preset to 2.5 (see fig. 6). Do not adjust this unless you receive false alarms. CHANGING OPTIONAL FEATURE SETTINGS The controls for all the optional features are located on the Parents’ Units. You only need to change the settings on one Parents’ Unit as the second one will automatically change as well. To access the optional features, press the Menu button. You can toggle through the features by repeatedly pressing the Menu button. A flashing symbol indicates that feature can be activated, deactivated, or adjusted by pressing the Arrow buttons and then the Select button. T

TESTING YOUR MONITOR Always test your monitor before using it the first time and then on a periodic basis. Before testing your monitor, complete the setup process as described above. 1. Sound Lights The Parents’ Unit features Sound Lights so you can “see” your baby’s sounds if background noise prevents you from hearing your baby. As the sounds get louder, more lights illuminate. TIPS FOR USING YOUR MONITOR • When the monitor is in use, do not use a crib mobile or other crib accessories that may produce vibrations.
