Chapter 2 Connections :: Connecting the System Follow these seven steps to connect the DVD system. It is recommended that you turn off power on all components (or unplug AC power) while you are connecting the system. :: Video Setup The Video category allows you to set the size of your television, and your preferred format for widescreen movies (DVD only). TV Aspect TV Aspect adjusts the aspect ratio of your television (the length divided by the width of the screen). Standard television screens are 4:3, while widescreen televisions are 16:9.
