1 Hardware features BigIron RX-8 Upon shipment from the factory, the following components are installed in the BigIron RX-8 chassis as described: • Two switch fabric modules. • A slot blank in each interface module slot. The slot blank covers a slot that does not currently have a module installed in it, ensuring proper airflow within the chassis. • A fan tray assembly, which is located in the front right side of the chassis.
