1. Introduction The Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-200 allows you freedom to make and receive calls while on the move or in the office. You can connect the headset to a compatible phone that supports Bluetooth wireless technology. Read this user guide carefully before using the headset. Read also the user guide for your phone, which provides important safety and maintenance information. 2. Get started ■ Overview The headset contains the following parts as shown in the figure: • Volume key (1) Answer/end key (2) Indicator light (3) Charger connector (4) Power key (5) Earphone (6) Microphone (7) Before you can start using the headset, you must charge the battery and pair the headset with a compatible phone. ■ Switch the headset on or off To switch on, press and hold the power key. The headset beeps, and the green indicator light starts to flash quickly. When the headset is connected to a paired phone and is ready for use, the green indicator light flashes slowly. To switch off, press and hold the power key. 3. Basic use ■ Place the headset on the ear Place the headset over your ear and slide it downwards as shown in the figure. Adjust the headset into a comfortable position on your ear so that it points toward your mouth. ■ Call handling To make a call, use your phone in the normal way when the headset is connected to your phone. If your phone supports redialing with this device, press the answer/end key twice briefly while no call is in progress. If your phone supports voice dialing with this

■ Adjust the earphone volume Press the volume key up to increase or down to decrease the volume during a call. 4. Battery information Your device is powered by a rechargeable battery. The full performance of a new battery is achieved only after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles.
