UTM/UPS and Maidenhead formats are grid systems. Ground Speed (SPD) The velocity you are traveling relative to a ground position. These batteries provide up to 24 hours of use. To install the batteries: 1. Remove the battery cover by turning the thumb loop at the bottom of the unit 1/4 turn counter- clockwise. 2.
