Bleeding the System (Cont’d) 4. Once air is bled, check the Oil Fill Hole and, if necessary, top off the Oil Fill Hole with hydraulic oil. Then, replace the Oil Filler Plug. 5. Test the Jack several times for proper operation before attempting to lift a load. If, after purg- ing, the Jack still does not appear to be working properly, do not use the Jack until it has been repaired by a qualified service technician. Lowering the Jack Caution: Avoid rapid descent of the load by turning the Release Valve slowly. 1. Make sure the Lock Lever (A27) is released to stop the air flow to the Air Motor (42). 2. If attached, remove the Air Supply Hose (43) from the Air Inlet Fitting. 3. Place the slotted end of the Handle (45) onto the Release Valve. 4.
