INTRODUCTION 3 When your MFC is in Fax/Tel mode, it answers with a short beep. After this beep, the fax machine listens for CNG tones, and then responds with receiving tones if the CNG tones are present. If it is a voice incoming call, the MFC makes an attention sound.
