MAINS PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS This equipment is fitted with a moulded type mains plug which incorporates a detachable fuse cover, under no circumstances should the plug be used without the fuse cover fitted. Regulatory information ♦ This facsimile machine is only designed to operate in the country where approved. Your Sharp UX-470 Facsimile Transceiver is approved for connection to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), it is also approved for connection via a Private Branch Exchange (PBX), and can be used with either Loop Disconnect (LD) or Dual Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) signalling. Your facsimile machine is not suitable as an extension to some payphones or for use on shared service lines.

Connections Power lead Plug the power lead into a 230 V, 50 Hz, earthed (3-prong) AC outlet. Caution: The mains outlet (socket outlet) should be installed near the equipment and be easily accessable. Rotate the paper tray extension up until it snaps into place. Attach the original document support. Note: The original document support has a top side and a bottom side.
