1 Getting Started Choosing a location To help guarantee trouble-free operation of your machine, place it on a flat, stable surface near your workstation. Installing the toner cartridge 1. Open the cover by pressing the cover release button. 2. Raise the cover. 3. Unpack the toner cartridge. Grip the cartridge firmly and pull the sealing tape slowly from the cartridge. You may feel some initial resistance.
