Installing your unit Installing the handset cradle If you want to use this unit with a handset, install the handset and handset cradle. Selecting the receive mode The unit combines the functions of facsimile, telephone and answering system. This unit has two types of receive modes; AUTO RECEIVE and MANUAL RECEIVE. —When you are unable to answer, set the AUTO RECEIVE mode. —When you are available, set the MANUAL RECEIVE mode.
