Setting Up Keyboard Stand Assembly CAUTION Read these cautions carefully before you assemble or use the keyboard stand. Setting Up Connecting a Pedal Unit (PEDAL UNIT jack) This jack is for connecting an optional LP-7 pedal unit. When connecting the pedal unit, make sure to also assemble the unit on the supplied keyboard stand. NOTE • Make sure that power is OFF when connecting or disconnecting the pedal. Setting Up Connecting to a Computer (USB Terminal) Connect the instrument’s USB terminal to the USB ter- minal of a computer, and you can transfer performance data and song files between the two (page 105). To use the USB data-transfer features you’ll need to do the fol- lowing: • First, make sure the POWER switch on the instru- ment is set to OFF, then use an AB type USB cable to connect the instrument to the computer. Try Playing a Variety of Instrument Voices Play Two Voices Simultaneously—DUAL You can select a second voice which will play in addition to the main voice when you play the keyboard. The second voice is known as the “dual” voice. Press the [DUAL ON/OFF] button. 1 The [DUAL ON/OFF] button turns the dual voice on or off.
