DASH DISASSEMBLY 99-2006 CADILLAC CTS 2003-2007 CADILLAC SRX 2004-2006 A 1 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 11:39 PM 2 Unclip and remove the center air vent assembly above the radio. 99-2006 KIT ASSEMBLY DIN RADIO PROVISION WITH POCKET A 1 Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure A) 2 Slide the aftermarket head unit into the cage and secure. (Figure B) Slide the supplied pocket into the 3 B unused opening. ISO MOUNT RADIO PROVISION WITH POCKET A 1 Mount the ISO Brackets to the head unit with the screws supplied with the unit. 99-2006 KIT ASSEMBLY DOUBLE DIN RADIO PROVISION A 1 Remove the center bar from the 99- 2006 radio housing. (Figure A) 2 Attach the corresponding bracket to the DDIN head unit. (Figure B) Insert the DDIN trim plate into the 3 radio housing. (Figure C) B Position the bracket/radio assembly 4 to the back of the radio housing and secure with the (8) Phillips screws provided. 99-2006 KIT ASSEMBLY STACKED DIN HEAD UNITS PROVISION A Slide the DIN cages into the Radio 1 Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs outward. (Figure A) 2 Slide the aftermarket head units into the cages and secure. (Figure B) B 4

99-2006 KIT ASSEMBLY FINAL ASSEMBLY Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash and make the connection as shown. 1 Metra recomends using the proper mating adapter and making the connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.)
