1 INTRODUCTION This manual provides instructions for cable operator personnel to install the Motorola DCH6416 High-Definition Cable Receiver. This unit includes a high-end processor, expanded memory, and enhanced graphics to support digital, on-demand, and analog broadcast and interactive services. 2 OVERVIEW Front Panel The front panel controls provide functional navigation if the remote control is lost or is temporarily out of service. Certain functions, such as those requiring a numeric entry, require a remote control. Some connectors are not enabled and require the support of application software. 2 OVERVIEW Invalid CableCARD Security Certificate In the event that the CableCARD provides an invalid security certificate to the DCH receiver, all access to live, recorded, and on-demand television programming will be terminated.
