HOW YOUR HEPA AIR CLEANER WORKS Dirty, dust-laden air is drawn through the Air Intake Grill of the unit where it first passes through the HEPA filter cartridge. The HEPA media removes virtually all airborne particles passing through it. ® Additionally, the filter is treated with Microban antimicrobial protection. Filter Condition Evaluation To test the condition of the filter cartridge, turn the unit on high speed and observe the output airflow of the unit. When the filter cartridge becomes clogged with particles there will be a notice- able drop in air flow and the air output will no longer be steady.
