Detergent Dispenser The detergent dispenser must be refilled prior to the start of each wash cycle. This dishwasher uses less detergent and rinse aid than a conventional dishwasher. Generally, only one tablespoon of detergent will be required for a normal wash load. For more heavily soiled dishes, use more detergent.
