Water Softener Filling the salt reservoir. The salt reservoir should be filled be- fore the first use and whenever the “ k” indicator lamp lights up. Use 8 water softener reactivation salt (1 - 4mm grain size), as other salts may contain insoluble additives which can impair the functioning of the softener and settle on glassware.
