Chapter 1 Selecting a Language You can display menus and screen messages in different languages. The Language screen is automatically displayed the first time you turn on the camera. If this is the first time the camera has been turned on, go to step 4. Chapter 1 Camera Modes The camera has four modes: Capture, Review, Share, and Setup. You can always tell which mode the camera is in: Capture —the LCD is blank, no image Capture is displayed. If you press the down arrow, the status bar and mode icon are displayed. See Chapter 2, Taking Pictures—Capture Mode.
