Putting Batteries in Your Camera 1. Turn the camera off When putting new batteries in your camera, first rotate the selector dial to OFF. If the camera is on a tripod, the camera must be removed from the tripod before the batteries can be replaced. 2. Open the battery cover Turn the camera upside down and unlatch the battery chamber by pushing the button and sliding the cover away from the camera. Then raise and open the lid. 3. Insert batteries Insert the batteries with the positive (+) and
