Getting started Inserting the battery CAUTION: Use only a Kodak EasyShare rechargeable Li-Ion battery. 1 Turn the Mode dial to Off. 2 On the bottom of the camera, slide the battery door and lift to open. 3 Insert the battery as shown. Taking pictures and videos Using optical zoom Use optical zoom to get up to 4X closer to your subject. Optical zoom is effective when the lens is no closer than 29.5 in. (75 cm) from the subject.
