Setting the Timer The timer allows you to specify the period of time that the camera should wait after the shutter button is pressed before taking a picture. You can set the timer and then move in front of the camera so you can be in the picture. The Timer icon allows you to change timer settings. Timer Setting Descriptions The three timer settings are described below. No Wait With this setting, the camera takes the picture as soon as the shutter button is pressed. This is the default setting.
