First Steps Inserting the Battery The following explains how to insert the battery into the camera. Open the battery-chamber cover. Charging the Battery The battery is not charged at shipment. Charge the battery before use. Connect the supplied AC adapter into the Plug the AC adapter in. 1 2 USB multi-connector. Inserting a Memory Card Although the camera can store pictures in internal memory, SD memory cards (sold separately) can be used to store additional pictures. When no memory card is inserted, d appears in the monitor and internal memory is used for recording and playback.
