TELEPHONE SET UP PROGRAMMING THE BASE There are eleven programmable menus available: LANGUAGE, CONTRAST, RING TO ANSWER, SECURITY CODE, RING LEVEL, RINGER TONE, TONE/PULSE, DAY, TIME, AREA CODE AND DEFAULT SETTING. MENU MODE Your phone must be in menu mode before you begin programming. 1. Make sure your phone is OFF (not in talk mode.) 2. Press the flash/program button to enter the menu mode. RINGER VOLUME CONTROL HANDSET Use the two-position switch on the handset to turn the ringer off or on. The ringer switch must be in the ON position for the handset to ring when you receive calls.
