General Explanation of the display The mobile unit features a 4-line display with 16 characters per line. Depending on the situation, the display shows: ● digits, e.g. dialled numbers, ● text, e.g. the current base (system), ● symbols, e.g. ringing or battery symbol, ● and in the last line the current functions of the two dis- play keys. Putting the mobile unit into service Charging and using the batteries The batteries supplied (NiCd) are not charged. To charge the batteries, insert the mobile unit in the Gigaset 2000L charging shell. The mobile unit can be inserted with the display facing upwards or downwards.
