INSTALLING THE PHONE Choose the best location to install your base and handset charge cradle. INSTALLING THE HANDSET BATTERY NOTE: You must connect the handset battery before use. 1. Push down on the top of the battery compartment cover (located on the back of each handset) and remove the cover. 2. Lift the battery pack and connect it's plug to the jack inside the compartment. NOTE: It is important to maintain the polarity (black and red wires) to the jack inside the compartment as shown in the illustration. 3. WALL MOUNTING THE BASE NOTE: For best results, leave the phone on a flat surface during initial charging before you hang the phone on the wall. 1. Turn the base over. 2. Attach the wall mounting pedestal by first inserting the tabs on the open edge of the pedestal into the slots on the lower portion of the bottom of the base.
