Professional installation is recommended. Features The Globalstar Installation Kit (GIK) allows your Globalstar satellite phone to be used as a mobile phone in your vehicle. With this kit installed in a vehicle, you can: ■ Turn the phone on and off by turning the vehicle’s ignition on and off.

When attaching or detaching the exterior antenna to the GIK with the antenna cables, disconnect all power to the phone and the GIK.
