Description of Air Filtration System ™ How the PermaLife Air Purifier System Works As the air is pulled into the purifier, the activated carbon pre-filter absorbs odors and catches large particles. Programming Resetting the Air Purifier In the unusual situation that the unit or the display is exhibiting erratic behavior, you may want to reset the air purifier. Since you will lose all of your programmed settings when the unit is reset, you should consult the Troubleshooting section (pg. 23) of the manual to re- solve the problem before using the Reset Feature. When the unit is reset, the clock, day of the week, and programs will default to their factory settings and the unit will turn off.
