About the McPC-Gigabit The McPC-Gigabit is a low-cost, IEEE 802.3 single-conversion, PC Card media converter that converts 1000Base-TX twisted pair to 1000Base-SX multi-mode or 1000Base-LX single-mode fiber. The McPC-Gigabit is available with one RJ-45 connector for the twisted pair port and a SC connector for the fiber port. LED functions are as follows: FX LNK/ACT Glows green when a link is established on the fiber port; blinks green when activity is detected on the fiber port.
