7 PDM Startup Wizard The PIX 506/506E contains an integrated configuration utility called Cisco PIX Device Manager (PDM). PDM is a web browser-based configuration tool designed to help you set up, configure, and monitor the PIX Firewall. PDM is preinstalled on the PIX 506/506E.
