To Install Locking Clip: 1. Tighten the buckled belt by pushing down hard on the car seat and pulling hard on the shoulder belt. 2. 4. Check the crotch strap. Choose the position that is closest to but not under your child. To move the strap: Reach under seat and push the metal retainer up through the slot sideways .
