C35 Quick Reference Guide HOW TO CONNECT THE C35 PHONE FOR DESKTOP USE 2 1 1. Install the 4 AA batteries. 2. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the “Line” jack on the back of the C35 and the other end to the phone outlet on your wall. 3. GETTING STARTED There are four initial steps involved in setting up your C35 1. Insert four AA alkaline batteries for maximum amplifi - cation. See below. 2. Plug the fl at telephone line cord into the wall plate jack, then align the mounting bracket’s keyhole slots with the wall plate studs and slide the base of the phone downward to secure it on the wall.
