11 Installing Device Manager software Java Device Manager (JDM) is an SNMP-based graphical user interface (GUI) tool designed to manage single devices. To use Java Device Manager (also referred to in this manual as Device Manager), you must have network connectivity to a management station running JDM in one of the supported environments.
