1.2 Connecting Internal SCSI Devices Step 1. If you are connecting an internal SCSI device, plug the 50-pin connector cable on one end of the internal SCSI ribbon cable into the connector J2 (see Figure 1.3). The ribbon cable included in your SYM20810 host adapter kit is keyed to assure that it can be easily connected. Step 2. 1.2.3 SCSI Bus Termination All SCSI devices have a set of resistors called terminators to assure reliable operation of the SCSI bus.
