PREPARATION ■ Charging the Optional NiCd Battery Pack The optional battery pack is not charged at the factory; charge it before use (refer to the battery pack instruction manual). ◆ DO NOT RECHARGE THE BATTERY PACK IF IT IS ALREADY FULLY CHARGED. CHANNEL SCAN Scan is useful for monitoring signals on the channels programmed on the transceiver. When scanning, the transceiver checks for a signal on each channel, and only stops on a channel if a signal is present.
