Making a call Before you can make your first call, see Installing the SIM card and the battery to learn how to insert the SIM card, install and charge the battery, and switch on your phone. 1. Phone book functions Saving names and phone numbers: In standby mode, key in the phone number. Press Options, and select Save. Key in the name and press OK. The internal phone book can save several hundred names with numbers and textual notes. The total amount of names that can be saved depends on the length of the names, numbers and text items. Locking and unlocking the keypad Locking and unlocking the keypad In standby mode, press Menu or Unlock and then within 1 second to lock or unlock the keypad. When the keypad is locked, appears at the top of the display.
